Liverpool Set To Make Bid For Sneijder
The Dutchman Wesley Sneijder has been involved in a number of problems with Internazionale De Milan for some weeks now and it is almost certain that he will not be extending his contract with the Italian club. This leaves the Dutch midfielder in a position where many clubs are interested in signing him.
The Turkish club Galatasaray is believed to have already made €10 million a big for Sneijder but the transfer is stalled and still nothing has been confirmed.
Liverpool recently stated their interest in signing the player and is even believed to schedule meetings with the representative of Wesley Sneijder.
Many Premier League clubs such as: Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City had already attempted to make a move for Sneijder but his huge wages of £200,000-a-week was a factor that made the clubs turn their heads around and stop their pursuit for the Dutch midfielder.
Sneijder was a key player in 2010 when Internazionale De Milan won the treble under the guidance of Jose Mourinho and even deserved to win the Ballon D’Or of that same year but the award was controversially snatched away by Lionel Messi despite Sneijder’s brilliant performance with the Italian club.
Now he is just a player available in the transfer market with doubts on where to go from here on out. Galatasaray are waiting for his final decision meanwhile Liverpool are trying to make a last minute deal with the 28 years old player that is eager to leave his current club but is not certain on where to make his next move.
