GERRARD LINKED WITH VACANT MAANAGERIAL JOB

Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has been linked with the vacant managerial job at West Brom according to the report from the Independent. West Brom are looking for a new manager after SlavenBilic was sacked by the club on Wednesday. The Croatian tactician was axed after a disappointing start to the new season despite the impressive 1-1 draw with Manchester City on Tuesday.

SlavenBilic and West Brom started the season with one win in the first twelve games of the season before the Manchester City game at the Etihad Stadium last night. Manchester City were massive favourites to record three points from the game but the Baggies had other ideas as they were able to earn a point via a 1-1 draw. West Bromwill entertain Aston Villa in the midlands derby in their next game in the Premier League and they could have a new manager in place for the game. Experienced campaigner Sam Allardyce is said to be the favourites to replaceSlavenBilic according to the widespread media reports in the United Kingdom but that has not stopped the likes of Steven Gerrard from being linked to the job. Steven Gerrard had done a very good job since becoming the Rangers manager at the start of last season.
